DMR Muck & Mire 2012 Highlights

Muck & Mire 2012 at DMR tested athlete’s moxie by forcing contestants to conquer obstacles such as slack lines, a tunnel crawl, log jam, slip-n-slide, pond swim and more. Hosted by Durango Mountain Resort, the 2012 Muck & Mire threw 5k & 10k contestants into a gripload of challenging obstacles. Oh and by the way, no one got out of this one “cleanly!”

DMR ready to start the tradition of this annuel good time. Athletes had to battle their way up the mountain and to various obstacles. They had to complete each obstacle successfully and then return to the difficulty that was the course itself.

After slack lines, tunnel crawl, log jam, walls, rock gardens, slip-n-slide, and getting through the pond swim athletes had to pull themselves through the “mud pit” The white teeth of the smiles was all that could be seen through the faces full of mud. Can’t wait for next year’s Muck & Mire on the Mountain.
