Inside Durango TV is a team effort, and it wouldn’t happen without our amazing television and video production crew. Below are the people who help bring IDTV to flatscreens, computers and mobile screens everywhere:
John Trousdale, Host & Owner
A mystery to some, inspiration to many, and modern-day icon to more, John Trousdale has been creating local videos and helping advertisers make a splash in southwest Colorado for the better part of a decade. When he’s not working on the next episode of IDTV, he’s probably playing in the backcountry, or cooking up some good grub.
In addition to his duties as on-air host of IDTV, John has traveled internationally for various hosting assignments from motorsports in California to skiing in Afghanistan to feeding monkeys in Japan. You can see videos and pictures from his adventures at JohnTrousdale.com.
Preston Benson, Producer/Editor
Camera operator extraordinaire, software samurai, and media mastermind, Preston provides a ton of horsepower and creativity that help Inside Durango TV’s videos stand out. A Fort Lewis College grad with a long history in Durango, Preston is a valuable part of the Inside Durango TV team, and the media community in southwest Colorado.
Preston also runs an independent company offering visual marketing services around the four corners, check it out here. Outside of the media world, Preston’s an avid gamer, paintballer, and also regular baller. It’s just the way the guy rolls.
Louisa Drouet, Host & Marketing
Louisa Drouet has nearly 20 years of media experience including reporting, on-air talent, voice over artist, producing and writing. Durango is fortunate to have her. She’s covered a large variety of stories from presidential elections to tornadoes, won a prestigious Edward R. Murrow award and has an enthusiastic following in Durango.
Louisa has a Masters in Nonprofit Management & Leadership, is a certified life coach and owns a marketing company, Forward Movement, LLC . Her personal interests are many, with traveling leading the way.
Darlene Redmont, Account Executive
Don’t let the accent fool you, Darlene Redmond has been an active member of our community for over 30 years. Darlene has enjoyed decades of success and is passionate about helping small business owners grow to reach their potential. We couldn’t be happier to have her as a consultant to the IDTV family.
An artist by nature, Darlene enjoys painting, music, good food and good company.
Alan Sabo, Account Executive
Alan Sabo brings decades of large-market experience to our little Colorado town. Over his career he’s helped multimillion-dollar, international companies achieve their marketing goals, and we’re glad he’s here to do the same for businesses in our town.
Outside of TV-land, Alan is an avid cyclist and explorer of nearby mountains and trails with his sidekick, Sweetie, an adorable chocolate lab.
Chase Orrick, Social Media, Producer/Editor
Chase Orrick is Inside Durango TV’s social media mastermind. Chase has risen through IDTV’s ranks from his start filming mountain bike features for Durango DEVO to become a valuable member of the IDTV family.
When he’s not running a camera or an editing suite, Chase has thousands of followers, friends, likes and subscribers; he’s an avid contributor to a whole bunch of online communities that the rest of us don’t fully understand. (But hey, that’s why we’ve got Chase!)
